Audio Player for Lifesize Statues

I am planning of installing an audio player for my Star Wars lifesize
Any suggestion what would work best? Im thinking of small MP3 player
with small speaker or small cassete tape plug in to a X10 remote with 15 minute tape to record sounds.

Go with an inexpensive MP3 player. Hours of music set to loop would never end.
