Attaching latex gauntlets?

Ok I ran a search for my question and could not find a post about this.

I have a set of Latex, foam backed Gauntlets that are one piece, should I split the Gauntlets so they open on one side or trim them big enough to fit over a lycra and skin suit? Not sure what to do here.

The gaunts are from monsterroom.

I would just trim the foam inside. Or ..you can cut the arms on the skins down to fit where the gauntlets meet at the arm ..this avoids that tucked-in look

ok those ideas are what I was leaning towards. Since this will be my first suit and I'm a squid at suit construction, I greatly appreciate your opinion.
