Asoka head piece in the works

hey gang
i'm making a "Ahsoka" head piece for my daughter to wear in 2 weeks at FANEXPO and thought i'd share the progress
so after about 8 hrs of work

well the con was a success and my daughter was aswell this was a rushed project and a first for me i learned alot and have great ideas for a better one for next year so with out adue here are the finished pictures of the head piece and a few pic's posted to 2009 events album

awesome! i'll be making one of these soon, and was also planning on pink foam. this just proves that the idea will work well! great job :)

what's the best tool to cut pink foam??

thanx i hope to start another one soon .
i used roofing blades and shaved it most of the way, then sandpaper with a thin coat drywall compound and then latex finish and paint. pretty starit forward just whiddle away at it
