Asking for help restoring Kenner's Cantina

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this (please move if not).

I recently acquired a 1977 "Kenner Creature Cantina playset" but the door stickers were stuck down wrong. Does anyone have any idea of how to remove the original sticker without ruining them and what kind of adhesives I can use to re attach them in the proper place?

Thanks.

that will be tough with the age behind it. It's a pretty easy set to find . Sometimes you will find parts on ebay that will fill the bill. Would be easier than buying repro. stickers or removing the old. they will just rip anyway.

You can try to lift them with clear packing tape. Press the tape down on the decal, and lift it up. It may leave some of the paper behind, but it should remove the upper layer with the image. Then trim it, clean up the residue, and glue it back on.

If it's possible, you can also make a scan of the doors, and print new copies of them.

This is a great way to do it, or sometimes, I try glide a really sharp exacto knife between the sticker and the plastic, REALLY CAREFULLY! Then I apply some Uhu glue stick to the sticker back and I re-apply.

I can always take a look at it if you want?
