I remember many moons ago (sometime last year) an RPFer was trying to make a custom locking devise that would connect AsajjÂ’s two saber hilts. Does anyone remember the result of that? The search feature isnÂ’t producing that tread for some reason.
I’m in the process of making my “grocery list” for this custom and I’m trying to figure out away to accomplish this. I’m open to suggestions too…

I'd like to hear more on this also. I'm scratch building a pair of AV stunt/hero sabers and would like to know what I need to do in order to connect them.

Here is my first draft for a mechanism (drawn on paper). I designed it so that I could scratch built it out of aluminum stock by hand if I was going to build it myself. Not the simplest, but I wanted it to be discreet. It would probably also rattle; perhaps a rubber disc glued to one or both of the bottom plates would solve it.
As I remember, Luuke's first design was very close to mine but had only one lever.
