Welcome to the club!

PoopaPapaPalps Would it be possible to switch my blank on the 4th run to a V3 stunt? Then could also put me down for another V2 and a Blank in the last run?

Done and done. I've got some machining to do this week so, with any luck, I'll have these out to mail pretty soon and working on the next run after.

Bump for more interest for future runs.

Finished putting together my V3. Absolutely love this hilt. I held off getting a V3 for years as I always wanted a cast one.

I did this one up as best as I could to resemble the stunt used in the throne room scene. I took a few liberties. Basically just painted it like the stunt in the warehouse scene and added a clamp and card.

I had an old Buggy Whip that I cut down and used as a blade. It works as a good substitute to using a vintage antenna though I suspect it’s diameter is not as thick as it should be.

The clamp card I used was from a board out of an old decommissioned telecom cabinet.

Thanks again PoopaPapaPalps!

That looks lovely! The gold paint is a great choice whatever it is. And that booster weathering? Totally cool.

The buggy whip is pretty neat too

List updated and bump for further interest!

I had to take a few days to visit some family but the 4th run is close to being done. One of the casts proved a bit more difficult to machine. I don't fully understand the properties of alu casting yet, but there might be some hardening in some over others. Some just take to machining easier, while others are a bit more robust. Nothing major but just slower in getting the work done.

Sorry for uploading too many pictures.... I was busy with some other things and forgot to give feedback in time. In the first photo I used Sugru for the repair work, I haven't finished the V3 completely yet, I'm still adjusting the paint color it's too red right now. I replaced the longer steel rod, did not lock the steel rod completely, and added something at the bottom so that the head could rotate and the steel rod could be seen from the middle of the neck.
0.06mm aluminum foil tape is used for the neck, and 0.1mm aluminum foil tape is used for the clamps and head. I think thinner aluminum foil tape should be used for the neck, but I can't seem to find a thinner model, but it is much better than 0.1mm!

I would like to say again that your V3 is the best I have seen! I'm honored to have it! The best!!!!

That looks great Poikilotherm! What color/type of paint did you use? It looks way closer than I've been able to find?
Mr.Hobby B-511 Tamiya-TS-92 Mr.Clear GX106 Mr.Clear GX101 Mr.Hobby T117

I think it might be a little too red. First use B511 white primer and then TS92 cover. Then use GX101 transparent black with dilution ratio of 1:1 and then use spray gun to cover.

 However, I recently found a pre-mixed metallic orange paint that works well under the camera and would have been better if the surface had been sprayed with transparent black and orange, but the nozzle was blocked due to the small size of the nozzle...... I need to buy a better spray pen to do the painting job. It may take a while.
