Aron's Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit WIP (Orharder print, TJack shell/lense Combo)

U can ask as much as u want :) thats what threads are for too :)
I use the small tulip slick black bottler for the webbing. I use the bottle without an aplicator. I think if u get extra bottle with metal tip it would be easier ( i dont know it actually). With the bottle it works good. But it meed practice cause u have to avoid airbubbles.

U have to wash the fabric before u apply the color (cold wash with a tiny mini bit of washing stuff for colored fabrics). Then the paint can stick on it good. I can stretch ot as much as possiböe and the paint stretch with it.

If u wanna use latex u should get an application bottöe with a tip. So u do it like with the tulip bottles.

I didnt like the latex cause it looks dull and matte a bit.

Here is a pic of my test suit. The front spider is latex.

Its a matter of taste. I just love that bright shoney black of the tulip slick black. Its so nice comic like :)

For the blue bricks i use the tulip slick navy blue.

Dunno ^^
I first do the short lines along on line and then i do the long line of the brick pattern. And not brick by brick.
By that technique it goes quite fast.
Also not mich pressure on the bottle. U have to find the moment when the paint stretches without breaking.

Loool. And some back pain cause i sit in a uncomfy position at the table bowing over the fabric ^^

yeah haha, what do you think about puffpainting a suit already sewn? can we have the same results?

Personally i would never paint a sewn suit.
To difficult and time intense cause u cant paint a whole area and cant get the fabric even cause u always have 2layers of fabric.

Thanks for the flowers.

El fetts work is way better tho. He mixes the colors himself too.

I have some not good spots due to airbubbles. Especially in the black webbing.

But somehow ppl shall see i did it myself :D

I cant tell how many i used.
Blue i guess ca 16-18 small bottles.
Red i guess ca 12 small bottles.

Maybe it was less. ^^

For my nxt project i will use aplication bottles and metal tips i guess.
Also cause i want to mix paints (slick black and thick black latex) and make quite thick lines ^^
Thats all about the mext project i can/want to tell ^^

the next project will be another ASM2? id understand why if it is cause this one is really cool... dont want to try a symbiote version?theres a lot of designers who already made a pattern for ASM1 and 2 symbiote, look at Grampsee's thread...
