I've used Aztlan's files (link to his fp: https://www.facebook.com/AZTLAN-294864933938214/?fref=ts). I have to say that his files are amazing!
For lenses I've used transparent foil glued together with white mesh (net). For the lights I've used LED stripes.
Something like that:

I've added some extra foam from the inside of my suit in more flexible places (especially chest part and thighs). I did not want to use too thick foam because it's easier to maintain all details with thin foam.Iyou said you used mostly 5mm foam. Isn't that a bit thin? Is the foam sturdy enough not to bend when moving around?
I've used silver acrylic spray paint for the base and then i've used black paint for the wash technique. After this I've highlighted edges with silver paint. For cuts i've used sharp paper knife and heater gun. Cuts finely open up after treating them with heat. Also what kind of painting process did you use to get that metallic, weathered. look? Are those real cuts in the foam? Or just a really good looking paint job to make it look like cuts.
I used thermoactive underwear with similar pattern. Additionally I've made simple musce suit (Affleck is soo bigWhat did you use for the cloth undersuit?
These files are great. I tried building this armor with free files but I wasn't satisfied with the results. Are his files for fom smooth? Seems like on other proples files if something is curved it has hard lines and angles instead or curves.
