I am 15 and am wanting to make a arkham city robin suit, I already have plans and the money but I wanted to check with more experienced people before I got started. Ok here my plans so far, First I will buy an undersuit or wetsuit top for the top of the suit, I will mould and cast the armour out of polyurethane rubber and then cover each piece with Kevlar fabric then I will cover the wetsuit to with Kevlar fabric then attatch the armour, the I will finish it by using latex rubber spray paint and then a red coat of a more scuffy paint. for the gauntlets I will mould and cast them in a hard plastic and boots I will cast the armour part then attach to tall army boots. for the pant ill just buy some plack and red pant and attach the red part to them. don't kmow how ill do the utility belt yet so ill need some help but these are my plans so far what do u think? ill be starting January and be updating on a dailey basis.

ive already made 2 of these... get ready for a lot of work since his costume (to do it right) has nothing to use as a base to work off of, i had to tryso many versions of moulding the armor, sculpting then adhering them to a compression shirt is a real pain due to the fact thet the urethane has little stretch and the compression shirt has a lot. good luck man you're going to need it... PS DO NOT cast his shins in a resin/ hard plastic, i did that and i couldn't move my feet. cast them in a urethane and then mount them to some street motorcycle boots, make sure they are for street bikes not motox bikes... here's a pic of my first version, my secod was better and a bit more accurate...
