Arkham City Joker Costume

So along with my Gambit costume this year, my GF & I are thinking about doing a second costume set. I always loved Marks version of the Joker from the animated series, and after seeing the AC/AA versions I had to do one. I wanted to make my own costume but it seems to many places go out of business or are outrageously expensive for pieces that I would still have to modify. I found this company online just recently, and although not fully accurate, it seems it would require less modifying than most others I've seen.

The gold shirt is missing the lighter, shinier gold lines, but I am more concerned with the suit itself. Shoes I have already found in Marshall's for pretty cheap, and I can paint to ad the purple in them. Tomorrow I will be heading to Michael's Crafts to look for the flower. I'm still stuck on whether or not to do him healthy from AA, or sick from AC. I'm leaning towards the sick version as to me it adds to his psychotic rage of being on deaths door himself. Anyone have any pointers? I've searched for about 3 hours now and it seems like a plethora of TDK Jokers, and a few Burton ones.... Not too much on the AA/AC versions.

Well we got to working on the flower for the jacket today, found almost the perfect match in Claires (of all places lol), just the center part needed to be changed. My gf went ahead and did that while I grabbed a nap on her couch (she also painted my thumb with bright orange nail polish...), and it came out pretty good. I have to add the wilting to some of the petals and some coloring to it but for a few minutes of work it looks pretty spot on. I will post pics tomorrow hopefully =)

AC sick joker would be such a cool character to do! Definately interesting to see how this turns out! It's not the easiest character to do though.
To me the suit from Cosplayfu looks highly inaccurate. It's missing the herringbone completely and the stripes from the shirt. It's cheap though so I guess if those things won't bother you then why not buy it. If you need screencaps, I can post some from the game.

That would help me a lot, I let my friend borrow my PS3 and havent gotten it back for some time now. The suit is just a bse, I would be adding the gold stripes to the shirt. Actually went to the city (I live in NYC, we have the whole fashion district blah blah blah), and found the exact fabric to add to the gold shirt. What do you mean by herringbone, I know its a stripe pattern (right?), I am new to this and just literally started sewing so I dont know the terms just yet. I am aware it needs to be modified quite a bit, but it would be a good base for me I think

This is Herringbone. It's the way the cloth was woven. You can see it quite clearly in these images.

Ahh I see the pattern now, I couldnt see it before. Those screen shots are REALLY clear!!! Possible you could get a pic of the belt buckle? Its hard to tell if its a skull or his face or a mix of the two

I think its his face as well, and it LOOKS like it says HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA in a cicle going around it....

It looks now like his lower face, and the upper half is skull? Not too sure

You may want to take a look in the Brotherhood of the Bat board, I'm pretty sure I've seen one or two AA Joker done there.

yeah can't find them neither, their search engine is really basic and outdated... Maybe if you make a thread asking for references, somebody there may find the links for you.

yeah I might have to do that. Already got some great help with the belt buckle from here, thought it was a smiling skull but it seems to be the Jokers face with HAHAHAHA going in a circle around it. My gf has some experience with clay so shes going to have a go at making the buckle. Already found the spats I'm going to use for the shoes as well. Ordered some chattering teeth also. Seems to be that this costume is getting more attention than my primary one hahahahahaha (sorry I had to lol)
