Scott and I talk about this all the time. I have a couple c96’s. If I were to have Scott convert one I wouldn’t be able to display it in my case. Here in mass it needs to be legally locked up in a safeMy dad started out collecting vintage guns back around 1990. A few years later he decided to sell most of them and just collect US Civil War stuff. He had a Mauser C96 and asked if I wanted it. I couldn't possibly drill holes in a perfectly usable historic gun like that so I passed. Parts kits or ones that don't work are a different story though.

Pictures for proof!!!This is why my ANH Graflex will have only one hole for the bottom rivet until my dying day.
lolI am seeing this hit across pretty much every hobby / collectibles. It is the economy that is hitting everyone hard. I think at this point, you can expect to see spending take a huge dip. The opening markets today show we are entering a hard recession. On top of high inflation and the world situation pointing to multiple possible wars, I think the markets are going to get very cautious which will further hurt the economy and spending.
the one roger built me is the same exact way, Roberson screw thoughView attachment 1847957
Here's your proof Halliwax . . . G R A F L E X, Inc. with patent # and a 1 hole rivet added!
It will remain so too on mine ... though it was a Folmer with patent # before I even knew about those subtle details.

And as of right now they just passed a new law.. it’s still very grey but it looks like if a semi auto leaves the state it’s not allowed to come back in.. so I’d have a even bigger problem
Scott was the one who convinced me, if you want to display it, just buy a blaster factory
I totally understand what you mean with your Mauser.. we collect wwii fire arms, I wouldn’t modify any of them
That’s what replicas are for
His scribble looking C with authentication from the top 3 is going for lots. If you can prove it, the inscription is way moreWhat's a Lucas sig with him writing "May the Force be With You" going for?
It's 100% proveable. What's lots? I've never seen an auction with his sig. It's personalized to me and my wife so I'm sure that drops value somewhat. I know he doesn't sign "May the Force Be With You" a ton so that ups the value. His scribble looking C with authentication from the top 3 is going for lots. I haven't kept up, as in reading the threads on Han blasters for years, but is there a full size C96 replica available now? Last I looked the only option was still Denix, which everyone said is undersized.
Are the steel Mausers not available through the Blasterfactory website?Denix guns are readily available and they're oversized rather than under, along with a bunch of other inaccuracies. Blaster Factory/fieldmarshall had a run of steel C96's due in thanks to some other members here that were fairly accurate but production of them has since ceased (as far as I know) because the quality of them dipped and the interest fell out. I believe he still offers aluminium Mausers but I don't know what the quality for those are like.

They are still available.
