There is a seller currently listing an arc reactor simply to get back at the person he bought it from. His price is $1,000.00 but e does not mean to sell it simply make a bad name for the seller, which according to the emails he posted in the auction seems the seller did all he could to help with no real response. I have reported the auction. I think the person he bought it from is a member here.

Looks to me as thou he can be reported for Keyword Spaming at the least, how many reports would eBay have to get before pulling an auction?

I saw this auction also. This is one of JMTWO's arcs and he is a VERY stand up seller! This idiot is just one of those people that feels slighted everytime they buy something that is NOT 110% perfect.

And by using pics of the other ebay auction e-mail he is linking to another Auction I thnk thats a no -no as well

This is a replica of the first Arc reactor made by a reclusive billionaire arms dealer called Tony in terrorist cave in a recent movie blockbuster involving a man in a red and gold iron suit it was Marvellous. For copyright reasons I cannot be more specific.

Hmm. That's weird. I have a very good friend named "Tony in Terrorist Cave". He runs a business that involves these sort of things so I guess that's why he brought up the copyright. He is also "Marvelous".

I am sadly forced to sell this as for several months I have been promised replacement parts for this item to fix it but these have still not arrived (see emails)...... Please be careful who you deal with on ebay.

Obviously, someone is forcing him to sell it. Otherwise this would just be silly. Still, he does give good advice on being careful on who you deal with on eBay. How many sellers tell you that up front? I give him a +1 vote.

The Stark truth is that I bought this in March and as soon as I plugged it in all the LEDS blew. I was promised replacement parts several times but 5 months and numerous promises later I have still received nothing so I have lost all trust in getting these and given up and decided to advertise this on ebay.

He's not just a sore quiter. He's a sore STARK quiter!

This should be of interest to all true collectors of Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Gallactica, Lost, Iron Man, NCIS and Lego prop replicas, also possibly for Terminator, Predator, Aliens, Blade Runner, Stargate, or other sci fi props.

IRON MAN? No sh**!

Because of the stress caused over these months I am seeking reimbursement for my costs and distress hence the inflated price, which I fully appreciate is very expensive, but this is not so much about the price but the about the message it conveys.

:lol

That's right! I'm unhappy and YOU'RE gona to pay for it! I'm gona send you a message that me being unhappy is going to cost you and I fully appreciate that!

I must stress that this is broken and it does not light up also the display case was cracked in transit. Thanks for looking, be careful of unscrupulous sellers and have a great day.

To be honest Johny, the day is 'less' great now that I'll probably have to pay you for that as well.

Perhaps there is something I'm missing, but it looks to me like the arc reactor was faulty, which the seller accepted and at which point he promised a replacement. Later, he offered a new design instead. At some point a new base was also mentioned. It seems as though none of this was ever delivered as promised. Granted, there very well could be emails that we aren't seeing, but so far, it looks like a legitimate complaint.

I guess I'm just confused and maybe missing something. :confused

Did you guys know that there is "Proof That Ton Tark Has A Ear"? Also could the LED's have blown because this person didn't install a converter on the plug before plugging it in over in the UK???

The Buyer got screwed
broken promises after broken promises, I don't see why you guys are trying to close his auction ?

Because he is not actually trying to sell this item, he just wants to rant and try to swindle someone else into hopefully buying his broken item and pay for his "distress".

This item sold for $425 new and he is trying to sell it for $1000? He just wants people to pitty him and make a bad name for JMTWO.

It's easy to make assumptions when only getting one side of the story.

Lame... (n)thumbsdown

not just that but he is only showing some of the emails, none of his responses, he even messaged me saying that the only reason for the auction was to ruin the name of the person he bought it from. Seems to me he is just one of the annoying never happy buyers who think they can make you give them free stuff once they have broken it.

I dont think he's trying to sell it or swindle anybody. I think he is just trying to warn people (in a strange and novel way - I admit)
If JMTWO or anybody else had promised numerous times to deliver something and didnt come through here on the RPF would everybody be happy then ?
