APOLLO INDUSTRIES’ PROP GALLERY
Hey there everyone! This thread will be to display and show some of the props I've done for my personal collection, as well as commissions i’ve accepted here on the RPF or elsewhere! For my own collection, I collect mostly vintage parts from the original trilogy. Unless the vintage parts are too crazy expensive (ehem….balance pipe cough cough*) I am very passionate about the details just like a lot of people on here! If you see something missing or something I should add, on one of my props please feel free to speak up :) I hope you all enjoy!

Thanks for checking it out!

The First of (hopefully) many posts, will be a V2 I finished up for RPF member ventuoguy !

I’ve been doing V2’s for a couple of years now, and continue to learn more about it. I’m sure you all know this prop well… as it is one of the most sought after/popular props on this forum, thanks to Halliwax , Anakin Starkiller , Trooper_trent , Brandon Alinger, DaveP , Verity Cosplay , and BRRogers to name a FEW (I’m sure I missed some). If it wasn’t for these people, perhaps I would have never started Apollo Industries, or discovered the love for props and their nostalgic connection to the individuals that have collected them. With each piece I strive to recreate the prop we see on screen down to the last detail, in order to display something that is truly worth owning in your prop collection.

Now for the DETAILS:

-Anakin Starkiller 2018 builders kit, d-ring & cone knob
-Roman Props Clamp
-Weathered Wanna Wanga Lever & Locking block
-Weathered Slothfurnace Card
-Wanna Wanga replica boot stud attached with prongs like the real prop.
-Spinning emitter modification
-Emitter chip, and “scorch mark”
-Nipple chip and ding
-Expertly painted and weathered each individual chip
-Acid aged in Aluminum Black
-Weathered Trooper Trent gaffers tape adapter
-Accurate neck color (combo by Trooper Trent)
-Dusted rings with Tamiya Weathering products
-Hand chipping between rings for screen accuracy
-Accurate “Kylash Scar” on clamp
BONUS!
-Vintage fishing line tied around the pommel :)

Here’s one that has been in the works for a year or so now…This is a custom built Starkiller I made from an old Korbanth 2.0 kit and MHS parts, along with a couple of custom machined parts like the pommel taper and chamber brass rods. Not to be precisely accurate to the game on this piece, as I wanted it to be custom, and with my own spin to it.

One of my buddies helped me install it with a CFX soundboard and I have all the blinkies on it as well ;) My favorite part is the custom engraved pommel, along with the Shtok Crystal chamber pieces (with a real quartz crystal!)

Put together a vadermania Luke Stunt Kit for my friend corliss1! This was a Very fun project to take on! He sent me vintage parts to put on this one as well, which makes it pretty unique! He opted for a custom wire method and battery pack as well :D Turned out quite nicely. Shot a couple next to its brother the Vintage ANH Hero Graflex. Also did a little test video at the end. Enjoy!

Looks wonderful! I‘m currently working on an accurate early Folmer red button replica, those will look great with the motorized Luke sabers.

Just wanted to share how my Obi-Wan ANH (pre-V2) motorized stunt turned out and explain some of my differences in choice for design! (Not saying mine is “correct” per se, just how I interpret it)

For starters, I used 4 different paints to achieve this look on the neck, more of a burnished copper look. I also used a matte black paint on the whole body, and accented the emitter and booster chips with a satin black (all Rustoleum.) Something I couldn’t unsee from some photos was the grayish emitter, so I hit it with a bit of graphite powder before adding the satin chips on the emitter! I like how it turned out! I also made a custom lever, and opted for an SPDT switch instead of the supplied one. I believe since we see the switch resting in the center position (being off) this was likely the switch used.
Thanks for checking it out! :)
