Anyone thought of making a K-2SO costume?

Hello Everyone!

Ever since seeing K-2SO in the Rogue One trailers I've been debating making a K-2SO costume.

After watching the movie, getting to see more about his build, size, and overall shape, I know it's impossible to keep dimensions and parts exact but I'm still debating the possibility.
I'm 6'3" and pretty skinny. That said, K-2SO is towering over everyone and has incredibly skinny limbs, I'd need to fabricate custom stilts and increase the width of his limbs. But man a 7'+ K-2SO would be epic lumbering around a con.
Some areas such as the neck will need to be much larger, the arms may need to increase in width a bit.
Keep in mind this is all still brainstorming, I haven't tried taking measurements from the film yet.

There are 3 main parts that I'd be worried about keeping accurate to not spoil the costume would be as follows:

1. The head. Humans (myself being one) Have tall heads, K-2SO does not. To fit my head in a K-2SO helmet would be difficult. Maybe possible considering his size difference.

2. The shoulders. His shoulders are really wide, meaning only a part of my arms may make in into his arms, or my arms would stay tucked into the body.

3. The legs. K-2SO has very tall, skinny legs, and extremely skinny ankles. The height can be solved with stilts, but that doesn't solve making them skinny. I'd likely need stilts that can hold my feet at an angle like high-heels. The legs would inevitably need to be more wide that in the movie, I think I Could live with that since most people would be looking up anyway.

So what's everyone's thoughts? Recommendations? Ideas?
I may not get around to it but I eventually want to see an epic K-2SO costume at a con!

It was originally going to be a costume build but turned into a puppet build. I'm tentatively considering a costume too.

1) If you conceal your head and make a fake head, you get around that issue, although the torso height would need to be raised to accommodate your own head. Plus that makes seeing a lot more awkward. I never considered the fact K2's head would be smaller than a humans but it probably is thinking about it.

2) If you think of your elbows as his shoulders and your wrists as his elbows you can get the same size. You'll need arm extensions, and I haven't fully figured out how to do it without it being extremely uncomfortable and strenuous on your arms. Having your arms tucked into the torso would be more comfortable, but if you fall in the costume, you won't have anything to brace your fall.

These are the best stilts found since the lower half is quite slim without the usual double pole of regular painter's stilts. Will still have your feet sticking out, but anything less will probably be extremely uncomfortable to walk in. Finding them is a challenge in itself though.

I would have to drop about 60 pounds... skip leg day... and really hit it on shoulder day.

I have no hair, so that's not a problem.

You've said it all. These are most of the points that made my change my suit build to a puppet build. But I still think it's doable. But he won't be a 1:1 size. I was figuring 8 to 8.5 feet at least. Those Marshalltown stilts are the best but discontinued. I found some on craigslist but ended up selling them later.
Let me know if you have any questions of the research i've done so far.
Good luck with your build.
