Anyone remove the barrel of the MR Fett Rifle?

I am not looking to totally take the MR Fett Rifle apart. I have one in which the barrel is misaligned. The reason why this is a problem is that the barrel is where the front scope mount is located. Therefore when you looking down from the top, it is crooked.

I have read some threads of other MR replicas in which they purposely attempted to keep others from dissembling them so this may be a impossible task. However I was hoping for a way to fix it. Thank you.
