I really think this kickstarter campaign could be a scam

Campaign is definitely a scam, and it’s really upsetting for me. I’ve redacted my pledge and in the (incredibly rare) chance it ends up being real, I’m ready to fork over someone to buy there’s off of them. It sucks because someone has finally built a working board after nearly 20 years, and it’s a huge scam. I wouldn’t be surprised if this came from the same people who did the Jumanji kickstarter in 2020 that ended up being a scam. I knew this was too good to be true… the “company” has no other presence online and all the responses seem to be fishy and don’t add up. Copyright law doesn’t work the way they seem to think, and I believe someone contacted Sony about it and I won’t be surprised if the project gets pulled before it completes.

I have always wanted to make and have one myself, I even thought of a way to actually make the board easier and how to make a bunch possible if I ever did tackle the project. Maybe hopefully someone will actually make one for real.
