anyone know who made these 2 pieces? and how close to being accurate are they?

i think the bottom one is romans older version?
I know there is a real replica but this is what i have and woundering which one i should use?:cool

Not 100% sure, but didn't Parks make the 2-section piece like that for his version of the saber? Seems familiar.

Parks' version is three section:

The top "gear"/"radiator" is definitely Parks. You must cut the ends like that to make it fit together with a solid pommel and Roman's grenade. A number of different solid pommels were made by Roman's Empire and other makers before the real part was replicated.

The bottom "gear" looks like Roman's last gear before the real part was discovered. It should be more accurate than Parks's but you might need extra spacers.
That gear would be the second best part before the real part was discovered. The best ones at the time were Roman's gears that Serafino had tweaked a little bit with a set of files.
