Material: Heavy cotton fabric and polyester quilted lining.

It looks good, but it looks pretty thin. The show is definitely a pretty thick distressed denim, right?

Nop, this is same cotton Drill fabric that used in show.
Here is comparersion , both fabrics have same diagonal thick lines.
Definitely, Billy's coat has weathering that you have to do yourself.

There is quilted polyester lining that makes it warm comfortable.
I lost lining image, but you can see it in attached image.
