Anyone know of Disney Nautilus blueprints?

I recently bought an MR Disney Nautilus submarine for my father who (I only later discovered) had wanted one ever since he was a kid. :)

He's placed it proudly in the bathroom on a shelf - no idea how he convinced my mother - and is now keen to find some schematics/blue-prints of the craft to display on the wall behind it.

I am vaguely aware of their existence, but don't know where to start looking. High quality is a must. Any thoughts/pointers you may have would be hugely appreciated.

Fond regards to you all,

Tim

Perfik. Thank you very much indeed. Hopefully the resolution is high enough to warrant printing some of those out on A2/A1 tracing paper. Will post the results if I get that far. :D

[BTW... if anyone's reading this thread and wondering if the MR Nautilus is worth buying. Stop wondering. Right now.]

not a bad boat,Scott did a bang up job on it.... had another life once too...Icons 31"er
Best,
Will
Ps. Please don't join the Disneysub site to take blueprints and run, stay and ya might learn things ya never knew...If your dad is a long time fan, DO NOT DEPRIVE HIM of this site. This is the ultimate site for anything Disney Nautilus..I do attest to this. And anyone that knows me can vouch for me and the Disney Nautilus

I joined there today , by way of this thread and was amazed by what I saw there...
It really re newed my love of the Nautilus.
I spent all afternoon reading through posts and looking around.
A VERY nice site and board.

I have 2 kits that I've been holding onto for years..a Comet 12 inch vacuform and a larger paper model.

Can you even still get the MR anymore? I didn't see it on their site.

Anyway...Thanks Jason for pointing ME to the forum.

"Sporak... that's a name I haven't heard in a long time". Great to hear from you again, Bill. And to see your yummy line-up of sabers again. Most of mine are buried in storage. Ah... such is the cost of a growing family. So sorry to be offline for awhile. Fatherhood has sorely tested my limited organisational skills. :lol

Firefoxm31... fear not. That Nautilus forum is a joy to behold (such care in the design :)) and so full of great info that my father and I will be lurking in its depths for sometime. I love the fact that new members are requested to post an explanation of how they came to be there, as a way for everyone to share their love of the subject.

So Will you lurk over here as Firefoxm31.
Didn't know you visited over here.

Black Rain, keep an eye in the for sale section on the DS site for MR boats.

I have one of Scott's kits that I am finally working on.
