Anyone Know Anything about False Eyelashes?

My next costume project is EDI from Mass Effect 3 and I've got an idea of how to do everything except for her eyelashes. They are a very specific shape and they aren't individual strands of hair, it's a single bar.
I've not really done make-up or prosthetic effects before, so I'm not sure what's possible.

I think you should be able to just cut them out of black paper, with the
inside edge following the curvature of the eye like a regular false eyelash does.
All you need to apply it is a lash applicator and some eyelash adhesive
both available at any place that sells false eyelashes.
They sell all kinds of wild shapes of lashes, but I don't think I've seen any that were solid,
still see no reason just paper wouldn't work......

Can't guarantee this would work, but you might try getting a set of really thick lashes and coat them in multiple thin layers of black acrylic paint, until the are solid.

If I were doing EDI, I'd probably modify some eyelash extensions like BornKIlr suggested. They make a few kinds that are so dense from far away they would appear solid, and with some paint/gel, you could convincingly make them look that way.

Paper could work too, but if you have a "hooded" eyelid that might also get annoying.

Would cut vinyl work?
