Anyone here use paperclay ?

Hi

I just read about a product called paperclay does anyone know if it can bond to resin, fiberglass etc ?

ive never tried it on fiberglass, but im pretty sure you can put bondo over it to smooth it more, though its sandable. I used it when making my rocketeer jetpack and it sticks to cardboard and paper products very well. Paints good too.

LOL thanks :) At about 410 for a small pack, it was alot of packs to make, but in a thin enough layer not to crack, its very strong, and VERY lightweight.
 
I haven't tried to bond it to anything but paper mache (which it does well, but I have been impressed with the stuff. It's easy to work with, very light, and very strong.
 
I have read that it consists of ordinary (water-based) clay with cellulose fibers added as reinforcement. Interesting material.
