Anyone help me? Battlestar New series

In the new series of Battlestar when the viper pilots are all drinking... I think it was when they where training the new recruits... Starbuck drank from the top dog or something stein. Anyone have any screen pics or anyone know if anyone has made one of these? I would love to pick one up.

IIRC it was an found airforce stein with a vViper on top instead of a F14.
ti was mention a while back.

Anyone know where I can get one? Can you use one of the titanium Vipers to make one?

It was discussed over at ASAP. It looks like they just modified the existing F14 (it definitely isn't a Viper on top) and painted on the skull and dagger logo along with the list of "Top Gun" pilots.

Close, but the color of the stripe isn't right (should be blue). The 2nd post in the ASAP link has a link to the correct one.

They are looking to get a group order. I am so in for this. (with the skull and everything)

If this project happens here with excellent screen-accuracy, I'm in for either two or three of the suckers, depending on price...

It's gonna have to be as seen on BSG, or there's little point in adding it to the collection, so it'll have to have a Viper on top for me...

If you look at this shot (grabbed by Karl - PhasePistol), you can clearly see two separate wings and tails - definitely not a Viper.

Here's the one that MJF found:

It looks like they shortened the wings and repainted it.

We can shorten the wings and repaint it or we could take one of the titaniums Viper and put it on the top. Thoughts?

To be accurate I'd much rather see the F18 modified. Looks like they just darkened the metal a bit, not painted. As for the names on the scroll? They were never shown clearly so they could just be made up callsigns or ones from TOS BSG, Starbuck's being the last on the list of course.

Some of the discusson over at ASAP revolved around buying blank steins as having to remove the original markings and then replace them would be arduous and would likely ruin the finish. I would want to have a stein that could be used, not just a shelf piece.

I am looking into blank stiens too. I could do both the f18 and the Viper for others... Still looking into options...

O.K., I take that back... I admit that I assumed there was a Viper on top in the shot - I'm clearly wrong.
