Anyone have plans for a PVC "blooper"?

I have a friend who is hoping to go as a terminator this year for halloween, and he wants to have the m79 launcher that was used in T2. Buying one seems ridiculous considering the price even for an airsoft one, so he asked me to make one for him out of PVC and an airsoft rifle.

I am sort of stumped though. I did some searching and found some breakdown plans of the m79 itself, but since I am not trying to actually build a functional one, these all look like gibberish to me.

So, anyone happen to have a tutorial they can point me to? My google-fu is weak this day.

Much appreciated!

Would be easy to make, Cut a pvc pipe for the barrel and use wood for the stock. and paint. It dont need to look exactly as a real one.

I wonder what size PVC would be ideal for the barrel? I'm working on a Vietnam grenadier impression, so I'm definitely going to keep my eye on this thread.

The M79 is 40mm. So it'd be about 1 5/8" on the inside, roughly. If your going PVC pipe, the closest match would be a 1 1/2" pipe or maybe round up and go 1 3/4". PVC goes by the inside diameter, so you'd want to find a pipe with walls that are roughly similar those of the gun to get it close enough. :cool
