Anyone have any photos of the replica of Zaphod Beeblebrox's gun that NECA made from Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy? I'm thinking about getting one but I haven't seen any good photos besides the one below. Thank you.

there have been a few pics I've seen on Flikr. i remember researching this gun and marvin's gun myself but honestly the pics looks like the gun were badly casts pieces with shotty paint jobs. I will try and search for a pic later today to see if i can grab it.

the only gun i've like that was well made was the firing Marvin gun.

I have one. It's OK, I wouldn't pay a lot for it. It is smallish, when holding it, the handle is completely enveloped by my hand. Room for 3 average size fingers around the grip, if you have big hands probably 2. I'll try and answer any questions.

I'm trying to find out how big it is but from what you said it sounds a bit small and I was wondering how the detail and paint is. I can get a new one for $49.95 but I'm not sure yet, Zaphod only handles it twice and only shoots it once and now I find out it's pretty small.

It's 6 1/2 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 3 1/2 inches tall. I paid $35 for mine with no regrets, couldn't make one for that so I figure it a win. Depends on how much you like HGTG, I guess.

Thanks for the great ionformation, I appreciate it. Just one more question....I think. I've found a few pix and in some like the one above you can see a black trigger and in some I can't tell, does yours have a black trigger?

No problem. No actual trigger. There is a 1/4 inch wide groove inside the trigger hole. In a picture it would look darker and could easily be mistaken for a trigger.

I got a Zaphod gun and it's great, very glad I got it. Can someone tell me how big the Marvin gun replica by NECA is? I was thinking I might display them together if it's not too much bigger than the Zaphod gun. Thank you.
