Anyone have info on an eye making kit?

Hi, I am after the info for an eye making kit that I found a while ago..I am sure through the RPF. It was a mold and attachment that would go onto a mini lathe, and then you could make your own acrylic eyes.

Does anyone know the one, and have the link? I have searched Google and the RPF but I can't find the place again.

One thing you can use is the back of a plastic spoon for the eye ball, drill in the center of the hole and find a flat stone type piece. You can find these at a bead shop.

sounds like you thinking of the "ken Banks" kit. google kenstools or eyes made easy

i have seen some very nice results from his kits but you have to get the right acrylics to work.

Another way is to buy some of those deoderants that are applied with a ball, once done pop out the ball and walla perfect base for an eye.

yeah that was the one. I saw the price of the kits and thought better of it. I rarely need artificial eyes for anything, i just thought it looked like it would be a lot of fun trying to master.

They came out pretty good. Wish I would have kept the set I made but they went to a friend for a halloween project.
