Anyone ever made a MST3K "Movie Sign" replica?

Someone on the board was building one and made a thread about it. I guess it's gone. It was a while ago. It was looking pretty nice though.
I tried scratchbuilding one, since I couldn't find the "found" items that the original was made from.
I also bought a set of 3 strobe lights to go in the background of a set I will eventually build for my bots, which are on top of the movie sign in the picture.
The movie sign lights, as I was told were actually just clear spray paint caps that were painted with the colors of the bots (however there are a few variations depending on which season you're going with).
I haven't had the chance to get any clear caps without those pesky finger dents that Krylon has, so my sign is still incomplete.
When I do, I'll add some LEDs in there as well.

Go to Wal-Mart and pick up three cans of that $0.97 clearcoat. They have the right caps.

What did you use for the base? I've always liked the Movie Sign too.

Wickerness - I used styrene for the base and some plastic tubing I found at a hardware store for the detailing.
