Anyone display sabers in shadow boxes?

I was thinking about doing a wall display for my three sabers, either in one or three seperate shadow boxes with custom wooden cradles screwed in. Anyone do something similar and have a pic so I can get a clearer idea what it'll look like?

thats a cool idea

i've been trying to think of a original way to display sabers as well

i thought about putting them in a custom drawer somehow...kind of mounted in there

then when someone comes over you open up the drawer to reveal your "weapons"...i just thought it might be a little more covert than having them displayed out in the open (read: my wife won't let me do it)...:lol

Those are probably some of the best displayed lightsabers I've ever seen.

The clear acrylic cradles are awesome. I think using them on a black-felt-backed shadowbox would look amazing too. Provided there was some spotlighting as well.

Yeah, I liked these oohyeahzone displays, but I was thinking something more subdued, less modern: wood with a blue velvet background, maybe some internal mood lighting...like you said basically RT, but with wood cradles, basically.

I've also considered a glass toppde coffee table for displaying, but nixed the idea and expensive, complex, and a magnet for clumsy people to bump into!
