Anybody remember the Cosmic Key?

I'm not sure what made me start thinking of this tonight but I was wondering if anyone remembers the Cosmic Key from the He-Man movie.

I remember not liking the movie all that much when I was a kid but I was crazy about the Cosmic Key that the little gwildor guy made. I also remember liking his staff but the key was the best!

Curious to know if anyone has any info/pics etc on this prop?

I know someone (he used to be on this forum) who once owned one of the working ones.

IIRC, It was the opened version that had the "tuning forks " turn when activated.
(The other version was the one that opened and closed).

As I remember, it was beautifully built and the buttons all worked.

He gave me one of the "spare" replacement forks that came with it,..still have it in my collection.

Saw it just a few months ago :cool
The last I heard, it was in the hands of a local collectible toy seller who had it up for sale but not too publicly. Still looks in great shape, but never got to see it work.

That's pretty cool! Not that I'd be able to buy it but if anyone knows who is selling it, maybe some pictures could be had? Thanks guys. Just a fond memory from my childhood I guess.
