Whats up everybody? I'm trying to find a good replica jacket. Doesn't matter if it's real or Faux leather I just want 1 or more of the jackets from smallville. I was wondering if anybody has bought from CosPlaySky.com ? It seems pretty legit just questionable obviously w/ all the other sites that sell replicas on the interweb. Here's the link. Let me know what you think. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

well, obviously nobody of those 39 people have bought there... or do you want everyone to post: no i havent?

the smallville jacket is so far from accurate, it doesnt even have the raised detail on the S, its just stitched on, from what i can see.

next time, be more patient...

I am very patient. But if you read what I had wrote, it also states, any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated.....if you know of a better site. List it! If not ok. I know it's not entirely screen accurate but if there is better quality somewhere else post it up.
 
I would hardly call waiting fifty minutes being, "very patient."

Regardless, I don't personally have experience with the vendor you've highlighted. I share EoS's views that their products seem to be lacking a bit on accuracy, but seem to be affordable.

If you're looking for a more accurate replica, may I recommend replicaprops.com? They are an RPF member and have an excellent version of the red leather jacket. It's a bit pricey, but is the best looking from what I've seen.

that jacket looks kinda dumb and dont know other sites sorry reminds me of the pajama style costumes, well you said any and all types of feedback hope that helps

Yeah, I checked it out. But i'm not going to pay $2500 for a jacket that will get worn maybe 1 month out of the year. LoL in FL we don't really have a 'winter'

Pajama style costumes? Like a one-sy? haha That's a different take on it. Maybe you've never seen the show?

Good luck - The jackets I purchased had some type of adhesive between the layers of leather/synthetic material that eventually bled through the fabric. The jacket looked fine upon receipt, but over a matter of months looked awful. There are similar jackets on EBAY - all seem to ship from PAKISTAN, so all may be made the same way. I have not found a quality, AFFORDABLE replica yet!

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah I saw that thread a while ago. Hopefully they're all not made that way because that would suck. Especially if you keep it in a closet. Did it bleed onto any of your other clothes? or was it kept separate entirely?
 
E.O.S. Have you bought from the celebs clothing site? I know you posted in the other thread. Any ideas about them?
 
not yet, i may be getting a black one for my birthday. we will see. i dont think there will be a lot of discoloring on the black one, because it probably cant get any darker than black :D also the red is not something i would wear casual. i wouldnt take the red one tho with the review

Yeah i've been debating on the red or black one. I mean obviously the red one is the more screen accurate one, but the black one would be more my 'style' then anything. So i'm still on the fence on which one to go with.
 
i love cosplaysky they make affordable decent replicas i own both the smallville red and blue jackets however from experience with cosplay websites dont order any leatherlook item as they only last a short time before the diseintergrate (something to do with the material they use
