I was thinking of making a Sonic Lipstick from the Sarah Jane Adventures for my wife and was hoping that some one had done one already one. I would love to see one and what parts that might have been used to make one. Any help would be appreciated.

I was looking around trying to find a lipstick that looks close and I think I have found one. I have also looked at the emitter head looks like something familiar but I can't place it. Any thoughts?

[attachmentid=13111]Here is Sarah Jane with it.

The lipstick is easy enough to find but the sonic emitter looks like something I have seen some where before but can't place it.

Just saw this:

BBC Worldwide has awarded the Master Toy license for Russell T Davies' The Sarah Jane Adventures to Character Options.

The Sarah Jane Adventures is just one of a number of Doctor Who Spin-Offs currently in production, and is aimed at a younger audience. Sarah Jane, played by Elisabeth Sladen, was the actual companion of both Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker (the 3rd and 4th Doctors) in the 1970s and is regularly voted as one of the favorite companions of all time.

She appeared with K-9 in the regular Doctor Who series in Series 2 of the new series in the episode "School Reunion", although K-9 has his own spin-off series coming in 2008 so won't feature in the regaulr TV Series.

K-9 did briefly feature in the pilot of The Sarah Jane Adventures that aired on January 1st. The regular series is due later this year.

The toy range from Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures will include action figures, play sets and 'sonic lipstick.'

I liked the pilot...cute show. I look forward to new episodes.

I thoroughly enjoyed SJA and look forward to the continuation of the series. The whole Sonic Lipstick thing was a bit much for me until Sarah Jane said something to the effect of "its about as useless as lipstick too".

Does anyone know how the toy sonic screwdriver (From Eccleston/Tennant) compared to the one actually used in the new series? How accurate is it?

The toy SS from the TV series was larger than the first season one, but the second season they actually used the same molds for the toy to make the SS used on screen, so it's the exact same size, just metal instead of plastic.

i have made my first sja sonic lipstick but it has a blue light and is slightly different my next attempt will be to make one as close as the real prop :)

Where did you get the lipstick case from.
hi the lipstick case itself is an estee lauder lipstick the same one as used on the show as when i contacted the bbc prop department they first said it would cost £1000 if i wanted them to make one but then they got back to me and said due to legal reasons they couldnt make it so ive made my own for about £17 and mine is similar and lights up red i also have made blue ones
