Question Any idea what this is...Malware? Virus? Malicious cookie?

Been getting this occasionally, but this is the first time I've remember to cap it instead of clicking "cancel."

It generally shows up in a single thread, whether I've loaded a group of tabbed threads or just the one; it also just shows up here at the RPF.



A quick Google of b3.mookie1.com gives some comments, but not much solid info on the actual maliciousness of it.

Run Malwarebytes and Avast! just to be sure.

Apparently, it's some kind of tracking cookie. A Google search revealed a lot of concern for the b3-mookie thingy.

Nothing showed up with Malwarebytes, and the Google info was what concerned me, especially since I could never find a definite level of danger for it.

Go to www.ghostery.com and download the Ghostery add-on for your web browser. Follow the installation instructions and that should hopefully block the tracker.
