Im looking into starting a luke v2 hilt build and wanted to know if anyone out there has a run or left overs from a run they're doing or did?

It would have to be hollow for elcectronics

I really don't want to buy a saber forge prodigal son knowing that I can support the local prop community better.

I know solos hold has a beautiful run but $400 is too pricey for me.

thanks guys!

If it has to be hollow for electronics and you want it accurate, and you want it from the prop community, then Solo's Hold is what you want.
With regards to "too pricey", there's the old saying, There's high quality, cheap, and fast. Pick two.

"accurate" is a frame of mind in terms of the V2...so, as long as its aluminum, and resembles the hilt it would work for me...the V2 requires weathering which I have done on a customers solos hold saber which came out pretty good...and should be reproducible (somewhat) in any saber that I can think of...

the saber forge prodigal son is a fine example with its flaws here and there but its still a luke saber and when stripped to the bare aluminum with a sandblaster, it should be the same process to get it to look like the solos hold v2 i did...the saber forge is only $150 but like I stated earlier, I would rather pay more and help the online limited run saber community than just buy a mass produced saber.

BTW, heres the pic of the solos hold saber Im working on at the moment for a client

and no, the clamp card is not going on the saber, thats just a card I put in for filler at the moment :) (its a wanawanga TFA btw!)
I ordered a sloth furnace ROTJ for this hilt.

Thanks! I'll look into it!

I second Solos Hold if you want electronics, if you want static the Anakin Starkiller is awesome.
