just curious as to weither or not anyones ever tried to reproduce somthing from the games. Ive always wanted to have a biomod canister sitting on my computer desk. sadly i couldnt find any decent pics to show what i meant for those who havent played the game.

Actually i like the original Deus Ex better.
I used to toy around the idea of making some weapon mods as seen in the game by using EL sheets stuck onto the insides of a small box with silhouettes cut out to expose the light.

yeah the original was by far better, i hear they announced three is going to be made. i was wondering how i could pull off a biomod canister, probably gonna have to be custom, i wonder if El sheets like you said might work with this idea too.

The first game was creepy, especially because of how many real life parallels there were, such as the development team having decided to not put the WTC in the NY skyline because in their game world terrorists had destroyed them.

Anyway, here're the biomod cans:

i appreciate it thanks, now that we have a pic anybody have any suggestions on what can work with this? or will the container likely have to be all custom.

yeah i was hoping that maybe that might be somthing Ramiel and the others can some how come up with an actual peice.
Someone is calling my name?
I have a wonderful power, I can hear someone calling my name months later... Hmmm, this is definately NOT a great power... I suppose...:unsure

Ok, back on topic, I remember the game, but not the gun, I have to find some screencap or concept-art if I want to give it a try...

If you have some info or something, let me know!:)

I will start searching the net to find some infos about this gun...;)

Great, fantastically immersive game (the first one - I didn't play the sequel, so I can't comment on it.)

I'll have to re-install it to remember some of the details. I'd love to do a replica of the medical robot, though!

Big fan of the JC Denton days, but I didn't like the character of Invisible War (not to mention the game was quirky and sluggish on my PC).

One of the best PC games ever. Super combination of RPG and FPS elements. Really engaging characters, situations and dialog. JC Denton, one of the coolest agents ever. Great main theme music. Many different routes through the game for great replayability, with three significantly different endings, way before multiple game endings were at all common. And all the other things already mentioned. Still have the disc, have it installed actually, and it runs fine under Vista with nVidia graphics.

Invisible War? Meh. Seriously dumbed down compared to the original. And also doesn't run under Vista.

As far as weapons from the game, I'd love to have a GEP Gun! But more realistically, that 10 mm Stealth Pistol was pretty cool, it would be great to have a red-lit LAM or two, and I'd love to have a whole bag full of EMP grenades. Fry bots, fry!

Loved the first game, second was kinda boring. I don't want to reinstall it, though. I definitely got all the play out of it that I could the first time around.

Amazing game for its time.

I want a replica of rhetoric, since that word was said so many times during the course of the game. Who's up for THAT challenge?

:lol
