Anovos Stormtrooper.... thoughts?

I found a decent box-cutter works perfectly for score/snap, certainly better than a flimsy xacto. While scoring, I held it in a way that made the "point" of the blade cut, rather than the edge (sort of scraping). Went over each line 2-3 times and I found the cuts are VERY controlled that way. No slipping whatsoever.

I did exact-o-ly the same way

Used the type of blades that are segmented, so that you just snap off the end as it dulls. Only went through 2 total blades (~12 segments) to rough cut the whole armor.

Got my bucket in the mail yesterday. It's got a lot of the same issues that everyone else has mentioned, but overall I'm happy with it - especially since I managed to get it for $130 on eBay. Now I just wish that my efx ANH bucket had the head strap in it. LOL

I haven't gotten up the courage to make any cuts yet but I'm starting to wonder about my soft goods, not even a shipping notification. A friend ordered days after me and he's had his soft goods for a couple of weeks now.

Shipping of the soft goods has been all over the map. Plenty of people left who are still waiting, no matter when they ordered.

Is anyone familiar with making molds and what the best material would be for it?

Why should they? It's not like I signed an agreement to not replicate the armor for my own use. I'm not trying to mass produce and sell anything.

Did anyone here order just the OT Stormtrooper helmet and received it yet? I put my order in at the very end of February, but so far... bupkis. I get filling the full armor sets first, but what about the rest of us?
