You can pass ANY information along at this time. What harm of any kind can it possibly do at this point?!!!

And didn't Anovos say that folks would have their outfits in time to wear at Celebration? Cutting it awfully thin here now because getting in the mail two days prior to the event is not nearly enough time to flesh it out.

Welp, aside from my helmet wait some time ago, I bought one of the snowtrooper kits for my fiance, since it's better sized for her. I bought one earlier last year when they first were being sold, and no issues with the kit. Though, since I'm in a rush to get her's done for celebration, I went through it all.

The first thing that I noticed is that a majority of the pieces were already trimmed. Of course, some still need additional work, but my first kit I bought from them, NONE of it was pre-trimmed except for one or 2 pieces. That's not so much as a complaint, but it backs up my idea as to why at least one forearm and cuff had CA glue residue on one side, and partial velcro attached to it. The last part, is that they forgot the * shoulder bells! It's my belief that some of these pieces were extras or originally being prepped to be sold as "complete" costumes, rather than being in the kit.

Now I will wait and see when/if they respond to these issues.

Either way, though, those forearm cuffs are stupid small, even for my fiance who has tiny arms. I don't get why they didn't extend them at all. They made them designed to velcro to the inside of the Forearm body, but the thing is, they're suppose to be attached to the outside! Due to that design choice, it already cuts close to 1/2" off of extra length, that's bent inwards to boot. So I may have to take scrap ABS and make cuffs for her..

The only reason I am interested in this e11 is the lightweight

I bought a set of anovos trooper armor from another member here. I believe it was the very first run they did. I am piecing stuff together and want to display it on a mannequin. Can’t see me mounting a airsoft e11 with the mannequin, so this foam one was idle for me

I wonder the weight of the doopy...

I will be able to tell you soon I hope, as I ordered a Doopy on on Friday based on the comment in this thread. I know the F-11 is extremely light, it won't be a one to one comparison, but I'll post my findings. For 80 bucks 22 of which was shipping I figured I'd give it a go.

The latest from customer service (as of yesterday) is that the shipment they were waiting for has arrived and is in customs before being sent to their fulfillment center for sorting and sending.

Looks nice enough, but I personally really didn’t care for this design. I’d be all over the Mimban stormtrooper though (not the mud trooper).

I like that they seem to be making delivery projections that are a little more conservative. Not gonna keep repeating the same sentiments that have been made over and over, just gonna say I hope the increase in activity continues, and translates over to existing orders/customers as well. I think if they’re able to turn things around, it’ll be good for the hobby.

Nah, they go live from 1pm EST to about 4pm EST. Today only one person was on there. But they go live at different times lately. They are very short staffed lately so their hours have been wonky... they used to be live for 8h.. now 3-5h on a good day. There was a period a few weeks back i didn't catch any live chats.

Just check periodically during the day... and if you get timed out due to busy day or short staff keep chiming back in... they always reply to me eventually.

    EDIT: fixed typo

For what it's worth, I ordered an in-stock item in mid-December. First quoted as 10-14 days. They missed that. Then support quoted me another 20-30 days. They missed that, then support quoted me another 20-30 days. They missed that too. Mainly what I'm hearing from support is that they are really sorry, but they're really behind on their shipping and that they are understaffed. I knew pre-orders were a crap shoot, but I mistakenly thought "in-stock" meant actually sitting on a shelf in their warehouse and that all they needed to do was slap a label on it and send it out the door. I don't see any reasonable scenario where 14 days turns into 3 months, other than they don't actually have the item.

If anyone here ordered the FOTK armour kit but wants a refund and is having problems with their refund, I would like to take over your slot. I’m already in the queue, but would like another set. No problem with the wait for me. We get Anovos to transfer the name, and I’ll pay you directly. Win win for all parties.

So let me know via DM if interested. Thanks.

Sorry to hear that. Yes i have an in-stock order that has dragged out too. I am approaching my first 14 day plus 20-30 days soon. They also require business days... so that excludes weekends and company holidays. I have ramped up my presence on the site, but very polite.

The in-stock shipping issue started summer of 2018. They were spot on for me before that.

If you've waited that long then you should file a more substantial CS claim either email the CEO and start asking to verify they actually have your item. But open a full on ticket. Then start talking to your CC or bank to get your money back or have them persuade Anovos to provide the item you purchased within x number of days. That's my advice for you...

I am giving them the benefit of the doubt based on the info i got the other day. But if my item isn't shipped in the next week or 2, ill be pursuing my own advice.

I have never used their customer service before, but I did just ask about my TLJ FO helmet and asked if I would be included in the first wave of armor kits ( I did order within 5 seconds of getting the email offer. We'll see what answer I get.......

Oh, *insert expletive here*. Just getting off the chat with their customer service rep.

    "This is all I'm told:

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY - Starfleet CaptainDuty Uniform
According to what our production team tells us here in customer service we are sending out an update, they will update you via the information found near the bottom of the item page and by email soon.

Han jacket is now Summer season June 21 - September 21

Darmok jacket is now Fall season September 22 - December 21

Star Lord jacket is now Fall season September 22 - December 21

the team will update you via the information found near the bottom of the item page and by email very soon (in the next couple weeks)"

I honestly feel sorry for the customer service reps... the abuse they probably have to endure. : /

So that's yet another TWO seasons I'll miss being able to wear three jackets... they will not be of use until spring 2020 since it's rather cold here. Their rep also insisted that an update on the entire situation with the delays will be coming "in the next couple weeks the updates should be out if not sooner." Honestly, I'm not holding my breath for this one... but if they don't come through with an update this time I might just cancel my several thousand $ worth of orders and be done with it.

Can someone please have a talk with them at Celebration? I'm sure many of us not able to go would gladly chip in for a lunch or dinner or something as a thank you...

I just talked to them about FO kits and helmets. TLJ helmet is apparently delayed to between now and June. The armor kits are still going out in the order they were ordered. For me its a bit of a bummer, but oh well. I may be dead before I see it, but then I won't care.

If at least ONE of the five things I've got on order were to be delivered each 'season', it'd be a lot less frustrating. As it is now, I'm afraid I'll get a whole pile of items at once, several years from now and get hit by monster customs fees for everything! I had a Trek Disco uniform on order even though I'm not super-fond of the show (I want to collect one uni for each 'prime timeline' series), then canceled, waited 3 months... then withdrew the cancellation before I got my refund, figuring (like an idiot) they were "only a few weeks away" so I might as well get the thing. And now it's delayed again.

    Argh! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh, I say!
