I'll grant you the OP was a bit hostile, but come on! We've been waiting on the black kits for a long time now, and you all are shipping white kits??

Those of us expecting black kits in the next 4 weeks are a bit freaked out.

Exactly, got maul comes on here saying trust him and anovos on how they are turning things around and then they proceed to ship white tk kits to those who order the shadowtrooper kit.

ATTN GOT MAUL. i just received my SHADOW STORMTROOPER KIT, and it is a WHITE TK KIT 001. NOT A SHADOWTROOPER 002 kit. that I paid for, I did not change any orders, and have been advised of the shadow trooper kit 002 status the entire time......the Ups driver would not let me open it until i signed for it, eventhough the box said 001. So. I had to sign, and opened it infront of him.... ITS ANOTHER fraking WHITE TK UPS DRIVER advised contacting ANOVOS, and have ANOVOS send me a return label so I do not have to pay for return shipping....

how about this, send me the BLACK KIT, FIRST, AND A RETURN LABEL. for me to send back the white kit. trust your customers, as we had trusted ANOVOS....
 
just had a pleasant experience with cust support chat in getting a RA label. sending incorrect white kit back, expecting a shadow. fingers crossed. its the only option.........sad it happened this way, as its an inconvenience and a huge box, its not like its a jacket of a lightsaber
 
My Shadow Stormtrooper kit arrived....in all its black glory. Mistakes happen people, it isn't the mistake that defines the company but rather what follows.
You let them know of the error, now allow them to correct it. Before you chastise or berate, see what the company does to rectify the situation first.

They are feeling the pressure from both ends, we the fan base that want want want and the licensee that owns the IP. A two year wait for something is excessive
but then again, I waited 12 years for Diablo III and they didn't have to have their flatulence approved by a licensee that rigorously controls everything. There is a context for everything and without understanding what that may be, your not seeing the entire picture.
 
It's kind of funny reading these issues. Not that they are funny themselves, but, i have the exact opposite problem. Anovos won't take my money :)

At the end of July I decided to swap my FO Premiere helmet for the suit. I did the proper things but they didn't refund my money for just a few days. Not worth complaining about - usually. I had to wait on the refund to purchase the full FO suit. I had it already to go. My refund didn't come through until the night (like 830) of Aug 1. I saw it first thing Aug 2, but the stopped taking orders. I've responded to my support ticket with them, which had been responded to regularly, but hasn't been since. no where in the issue does it say closed either...

My point related to the difficulties companies have in bringing products to the market, in the case of Diablo it was a software title
that was not encumbered by an IP and still took an excessive length of time whereas with Anovos it is tangible goods/textiles that
has the oversight of a licensee. That was the comparison, not the price of the game vs the price of "x" from Anovos.

This pretty much cements my notion of sticking to unlicensed fan-made collectibles from here on out.

Two of the three major prop/collectible companies seem to be untrustworthy, and the third is wildly priced.
 
Hey all- yah- that really stinks with the timing of this post and mishap on the trooper armor. Really sorry about that and we are moving to fix it ASAP. We found out that two pallets of armor had been mixed up unfortunately and lead to this issue. To compound things, someone ended up putting their "spare" armor on eBay while their replacement armor was being processed which then lead us to the enforcement of the sending out of the wrong armor first before outgoing. Talk about one bad apple.

I know you've waited a very long time and this small snafu was caused because we should have made the markings on the master carton more evident, rather than just a single digit. Mistakes happen and we're working over time to correct.

Not to sound ungrateful Got Maul, but I sent it back the day I got it and still nothing has been sent back to me. That's why I wanted to keep mine before sending it back. Because even though I was promised it would go out Wednesday by a supervisor (I don't want to out him in public but pm me and we can discuss further) it has still not shipped. It has severely soured me to Anovos. I had asked for overnight shipping and was denied, the least that could have been done was to send it out the next day. In fact you could have sent it that day (Tuesday) because I got it to UPS about 2 pm west coast time. As long as I FINALLY get everything OK you will no longer hear from me as you will be losing this repeat customer.

i accepted it so i had an actual physical pkg to return and get a tracking number for. once chating anovos that return tracking number. they released my black kit. i should have it friday sept 9. based on they seeing the pkg on its way back.... i did. not refuse it so i had something to return. a bird in hand is worth two in vaporware. These boxes are a pain in the ass. almost couldnt fit it in my full sized 4 dr volvo. Ps. regarding the reports of people getting 2 kits when ordering one. wtf?​
