Hows the sizing? I think I'll need a medium based on the measurements on the website. I'm 5'8" 188lb 42" chest with 34" inch waist. Anyone similar ??

Maybe the product and/or photo has changed since you looked last, but I see no seam at that Amazon link.

Has anyone got any experience with Anovos sizing? The Bespin outfit sizes are a little strange. There is a 2 inch difference between each sizing (which I think is quite big). Looking at their sizing I would be a small chest, but medium waist. But due to the jacket design, they say "Please note that the Waist measurement is used for both the jacket and pant, due to its unique design". So I would need to order a medium (to fit the waist) but then the chest will be huge...
I don't really want to starve myself and drop 2-3 inches off my waist. I've e-mailed them asking if I would be easier to tailor but...snail mail. Any recommendations?

I am curious about sizing as well. I think I am mediums for both. Might just have to pull the trigger....

Being from the UK, not sure if I want to risk paying return shipping costs and then more shipping costs to get a different size of needed. Really want it but not sure what to do!
Where did you see this? I just checked the Release Calendar and also the actual item page and both still still say Q3 from what I'm seeing.

Oh yeah. So it seems they have when products will be released listed in three places but only update one.
That's now 3/5 items I have on order that they have said would be released by the end of September that have changed. 0/5 have been delivered so far.
I hope by the end of September I can say 2/5 have at least shipped and I don't have to change any more of the numbers.

Has anyone received the recent newsletter? I am curious as to the reason for the sudden cancellation of the tie torso armor given that it is part of the ensemble which isn't canceled. I'm having email issues ...

Hey again all! Thank you so much, it's been a blast communicating with you guys on here.
Guys the build quality, the feel, and fit are perfection! After a 2.5 year wait I thought for sure that word to describe it would have lost its luster by the time it arrived--but being Star Wars and a childhood fan with this great of a quality product rejuvenated my excitement. As far as looks go, my twin brother was in shock when he saw me come down the stairs--you'd think I just blasted my way through a wall onto the Muppets Show set. The fabric is a very sturdy, almost thick canvas like, twill fabric--but soft! Its extremely comfortable, especially if you can have a seamstress, or someone who knows what they are doing with a measuring tape to help get your most accurate measurements for your order. With this uniform's design you could patrol the conventions or the bowels of Bespin in great comfort and feeling stylish. The jacket has padded shoulders and a tapered waste for that broad heroic military style look. It has very classy and professional looking stitching on the pockets and details. And the pants are of the deep coveralls design to complete that movie accurate look. Everything feels epic right down to the smallest stitch! To say the least, I was very impressed with how down to the last detail Anovos went to bring us the most movie accurate uniform! Just remember, sizing is the paramount of importance when ordering products like these, but when you get it right this feels like it was tailored just for me. My mother who is a seamstress was even very impressed with how professional it looks! If I had any critiques past the long wait period of this ensemble--it would be as many of you have said: boots! Hope you enjoyed my review.

I can tell you straight up ~ so good news and bad news. The good news is, we've been staring at these beautiful puppies now for some time. They are done and being packaged and getting prepped for shipment. The bad news (and this is where are green-ness shows) we sold these as a complete set with the greeblies. Unfortunately, the greeblies (which were injected casted for a near perfect casting) have just finally been approved...but they still need packaging and we're not necessarily allowed to send these out without the belt. We are working round the clock now to super speed up the packaging and integrity testing of these final products, but this has been the primary cause for delay. The holsters are gorgeous and I know you will be just as amazed with the greeblies as well.
Vader has no stand. It is not a collectible...the stand is your head ! lol - The cancellation was very simple - very few orders and when I say few , I mean less double digits. It did not make sense for us to sell this piece alone so we decided to cancel rather than take a loss on it. BUT, you are not without choice...we intend to kit the Tie out so you will not only get another chance at owning it, but you will do so at a supremely cheaper price.
Trickle...yes. But the debt of gratitude is ours for waiting for so long. BATSNIKT and others who waited for us are the real heroes. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your patience.
these were once costumes for original actors. We simply took their pattern and commercialized it. BUT, being costumes, they were very simple to take in whether in the darts or in the lengths. Have a professional tailor do it but if there is any doubt, go bigger and have taken in. The effect is far sharper than trying to squeeze into a size too small.

Coming here can be tough. You got some angry customers and ya know some people will never be happy but you take the fire and do what you can and try to take care of your customers.
That is some outside the box thinking there.
There is another outfit trying something similar. Although they charge a lot!!!!!!!!!! They are trying something radical,....delivering product.
With crazy companies like these I don't know how some other companies will survive.

I am with you on this, of all costumes, this was my very favorite and the one I paraded around in as a 6 year old. It was also the Kenner figure I purchased multiples of and the costume I could not wait to see in the archives. I was actually afraid that when I got to see the real thing that it would be a shell of my imagination. But, I was blown away...it was a high quality costume piece and so impressed. i knew we had a huge task in replicating it and if any piece was going to be an exact replica, it was this one. From the shoulder pads to my demands on the thickest interface Taiwan could find, this had to be perfect for not only you all, but my 6 year old self.
So thank you for your patience and thank you for sticking with us for over two years. I assure you that kind of wait will never happen again and for now, please enjoy this this costume. I will be gearing it too for Halloween!
** intersting Tidbit - the uniform that this was patterned from was his "clean" uniform when he first meets Yoda.

Thank you for the kind words. I have to say in complete transparency that there have been ups and downs i this business, but this has been one of the lowest lows for the past few weeks over the course of company's existence. Heck, as I was answering one question, another situation erupted type of thing. I was contemplating not coming back here it was/is so bad and over my travels had to really think about it.
Then I realized, Its all about perspective. I realized one thing that I've been preaching here since day one. RPF has always been family and my family. In our own personal families, we applaud our family's accomplishments, we sob when we lose them (RIP Moogy and others), we get angry at them and hold them accountable. But this is family and the price to be paid to be a part of one. So, just as I was raised and I raise my son, you hold up your chin up high and walk right into dinner, come hell or high water, and face your fears, accolades and punishment, so you can earn the right to have a seat at the table.
