all quiet on the vader front. seems like it's been forgotten about. sigh.

Heh. I wouldn't hold your breath. We're halfway through May, and I still haven't seen Anovos or anyone on FB posting about receiving their new Anovos Vader Helmets.

I guess before they were having their quality control recheck them some did indeed go out. Per ebay complete search there was 1 on hand helmet that sold on ebay for about $800.

Seems overpriced for a helmet that could contain quality issues but I guess that buyer didnt want to wait lol

I know I haven't received a shipping notice on mine yet, & I got mine on the 1st day it was offered at tier 1.

A buddy of mine placed his order for a full suit the first day ANOVOS offered it. At the time he thought it would be in hand by the end of the year. Oops! :lol

I've been contemplating doing the same. November 30th will be the 2 year mark for the ANOVOS Vader. I think I'll give them the full 2 though. At least I got to see it at Disneyland, & I think it looks good.
Wish I could've put it on though.
July 8th will be the 2 year mark for the eFX Scout. Early April was the 1 year mark for the RS Biker Scout helmet.
My race is still ongoing. Who do I get a helmet from 1st? The winner of the race gets me to think about how I might order from them again in the future.... maybe.
I am so sorry and I hope I dont offend any one who has ordered this Vader from Anovos, but there is nothing that looks right about it. You can take the money youve spent on it and invest it in getting some much better parts. My personal advise to anyone who preordered it, would be to cancel it. I dont think its worth the money and much less the added wait time.

I'm not sure the prototype pictures on the Anovos.com website or the Disney suit are the final product, so it's hard to know how accurate it will be until people start receiving them.

What Juan said. Tough to completely say, since this was photographed up close with a wide angle lens - but it appears to be fairly consistent with their website photos on the full Vader costume - while being inconsistent with their stand alone helmet prototype photos.

I can guarantee its not gonna get much better than what you are seeing on display at Disney. I'm not trying to discourage anyone who bought it. I'm actually letting people know that you still have time to ask for your money back and invest it in to a much better Vader. I took a refund just weeks before they released the OT Trooper and once I saw what they were actually mailing out I couldn't regret my decision.
Trust me I had really high hopes for this Vader. But between the price tag, the Waiting time and what has been shown, its just not worth it. I'm not saying its terrible or atrocious but if you were looking for something accurate then this is not for you. This to me seems more like a hyper expensive and really elaborate halloween costume.

In fairness, isn't that what all Vader costumes are? Either that, or hyper expensive mannequins.
