ANOVOS Darth Vader

Question for the board....
I have a Vader suit I picked up a few years ago from various sources but mostly from Costume Junkie and Sci Fi Show Collectables. I'm not a part of the 501st or anything. I just keep it on a mannequin in my office for most of the year and wear it around my neighborhood on Halloween.

IMG_1111.JPG (That's foam underneath the shoulders to hold up the cape)

My only problem is maintenance. While it's a quality suit with the leather, wool and fiberglass, a lot of it is held together with velcro which does not do well in the environment that I'm in. I would like to upgrade it with better attachment methods but I have no skill whatsoever in that kind of handcraft. I've seen a bit of how the Anovos suit is put together and I'm intrigued with the hinges on the shoulders and the strapping on the chest box and shin guards. Plus the cape attachment looks like it would solve a lot of problems while it's being worn.
I'm thinking at this point I might sell the suit I have to help finance the (deluxe) Anovos suit. The question I'm throwing out is, from what people on this board have seen either at a convention or just in pictures, does the Anovos suit look like a well put together suit. I know it may not be the most accurate but it looks good enough for me. I just want something that's going to hold up. Manufactured parts would seem to make sense over cobbled together parts. (no offense to the great craftsmen around here) Right now I just have the helmet on order just because I thought the magnetic alignment thing was cool enough. Thanks in advance.

I can't help but wonder if Anovos is taking on too much.

They are releasing all these new product updates, and STILL no darth vader or trooper releases yet.

I like the looks of that helmet, and hope to own one someday...

Understand, I ordered it already. I just hope to actually own it soon.

Is that $675 price in the photos accurate? They're still going for $550 on Anovos' site. Here I thought $550 was pricey; I never would have ordered a $675 one.

Received the following from ANOVOS: *Darth Vader Helmet Accessory: Production completed. Finalizing packaging. Current estimated delivery: Q1 2016
*Darth Vader Premier and Standard: Production completed. Finalizing packaging. Plans for helmet environmental system on hold. If you ordered the Standard or Premier completed ensemble, please contact us for more information. Current estimated delivery: Q1 2016
I contacted them 9 days ago to find out what is happening with the helmet environmental system...still waiting for a reply. Their customer support is the worst I've ever seen...hope it's not this bad if I have to return the costume.

oh, gotcha....I looked it up on google, and some totally different def came up. I didn't even notice the bold in the quote. doy....;o).

I know it's not screen accurate, but I do think it's beautiful & I can't wait for mine to arrive (one day). Even more so at the tier 1 price I paid.

While there I was feeling the material on the cape and outfit and to be honest anovos really did a good job with him I personally liked it and loved how the feel of the helmet was including the nice padded interior.

I dont know how you guys do it though I would be drenched in sweat wearing a vader or kylo lol

& I forgot to say earlier, but thank you for the great photos & your thoughts on the quality. I have no idea when Vader will be delivered, so I live vicariously through the photos posted by you lucky enough to be able to see & feel what's on display. They sooth a long waiting soul. Thank you :cheers
