OK I took today and tomorrow off to work on my two commission jobs to get them out of the way. I am about 97% done with this.

Some things need touching up like R2 and more weathering but I got a hell of allot done today on this one.

Man, that is awesome. You guys are so talented.

When I built models and replicas, I never painted them....I guess I better learn

Man that is excellent work so far. I can't wait to see the finished weathered model!!! Now just give R2 a black eye.......lol..........and you'll be on your way. Again, love your paint technique. :)

Thats a nice 5:thumbsup

What white did you use? It looks brighter than the usual builds on here, and I've gotta say I think its really working. It gives it that on screen look if that makes any sense.

this is looking soooo delicious !! i even like it without the weathering, it looks so crisp and clean, yummy yummy.
really great paintjob so far.

btw Greg, i´ve received those death star tiles. they are very nice too.

Thanks Guys :)

Joerg glad to hear it sorry it took so long

The white I used is plain old Tamiya white on a black base primer. Works pretty well.

Great Job Greg! The more I look at it, the more things I find to like about it. Cant wait to see it finished!

Hey Ed welcome to the RPF amigo, I hope you like it, she is now 100% DONE!!!!

If I wasnt so damn tired I would post pics of her.

Greg

Don't sweat it, get some rest. Sounds like you've been busy. I, and others in this forum, would rather see good pics instead of blurry, crappy ones when your falling asleep at the shutter. :lol
