another Spinner . 6th scale. printed

Okay what the heck??? :eek: o_O o_O o_O o_O :cautious::(:oops:

I could see years or months, but how do humans such as you and Geek work so fast?????? My paint does not dry this fast.

You are clearly other world beings with advanced modelling skills, and paints, and glues, and tools.

Also where in the heck do you get or how did you make all the stickers.

when visiting Geeks workshop I did see flashes of light, I have my suspicion he was using some sort of harry potter magic and a gang of night elves. As for myself, I try to do all the things in the morning that need time to dry, like painting, casting and glueing that leave the rest of the day
to scratch my head and wonder why did I do that yesterday.

What color rattle can paint did you use? Asking for a friend (y)
oh tricky question, my search consisted of going to the local car part store and going through their options none of which were perfect. I could have taken a colour swatch to our local pain company and had some cans made up, or mixed it my self but I took the root of least resistance for speed. So when I say I used RoverPageant mid-blue this is not the true colour of the car. the actual colour is a little more grey-green. but for what I'm doing with this model it won't matter.
I used Skoda Race Blue with a busting of matt black before the paint has dried, for the cockpit.
hope this helps your friend. ;-)

I didn't have the time or energy to send out my graphics out to be professionally printed (rub downs or water slides) so did them at home
I used a laser printer on white water slide paper but the inkjet works just as well. because I don't have a white printer I cheated and printed the graphics with a blue colour matched background. you can see the transfer but it will be less visible after a clear gloss coat.

I had an Alps MD5000 Dye Sub way back and it could print white, unfortunately the rubber pinch roller went bad and it got so hard to find ribbon cartridges that would work, plus, it only had Window XP drivers and used a SCSI interface, that's old, like me......o_O:lol: Your progress is amazing, please keep posting....(y)

just so you know things don't always go right. Simple mistake I remade this peace to make the hand controls larger and that fast cast I used is slightly grease when it first comes out. excuses excuses I pulled the paint of with the tape :)

test fit. need a few more tubes, the glass, wings, more lights, electronic wiring up, rear pannel fitting filled, sanded, and painting. clear coating, a touch of aging, and decker noodles making 7 days its possible. I just have the fear of the blue smoke.

Flimsy,
Its a phenomenal piece of work. I hope you dont’t feel pressured to finish this so fast. There are other things in life particularly family to enjoy. This reminds me of the famous Carlsberg advert. “ Worth waiting for”. And wow, your journey to here has been extraordinary.
Thank you for sharing it with us.

Mate; that belongs in a Museum (y) (y) :cool: :cool: :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy: Isn't it the case for our builds? You think that task A is going to take you a half hour to complete and...lo and behold: 2 hours have passed and you still at it:p Your list of "Things to do" scares me.
