Yeah, i know the real source of the gear was discovered last year (or was it earlier this year?)...

While browsing ebay for tools i came across this and my eyes nearly crossed. Too bad it's not the real deal. I can't tell the scale of it either - maybe it would work for a less-than original repro?

The proportions really aren't even in the ballpark, it's too short for its width, for one. Cool looking piece though.
