So come on everybody lets see whats on your shelf/workbench :love

Nice to see some sabers! That stormtrooper saber is a real gem. Can you give us more background on its construction?

I like what you're doing with that afbb obi saber.
I've not seen anyone do the frag like that before.

This is my fan made Obi TPM. I love this saber!

This is my Graflex. It's a cross now between a Luke ANH & ESB. It now sports a bubble strip instead of a circuit board.

Plus it has custom electronics inside powering a 5w Luxeon LED.

That is a nice collection you have. I like the Stormtrooper saber. I need to get one of those the next time I see one. Nice looking Obi AFB saber as well.

Nice sabers, guys!

Nice to see your Rylo Luke ROTJ, firebladejedi; I started working on mine last Sunday night, but want to redo the paint as I'm not happy with how it came out. Yours looks great - what did you use (semi-gloss, satin, etc.)? Also, did you clear-coat it at the end?

I also like your custom Luke, Robiwon. Your idea of a hybrid ANH/ESB is pretty cool; it's likely he would have just changed a few parts here and there over time, which your saber does a great job of conveying. Can it hold a blade as well? If so, do you have any pictures of it lit up?

Thanks for the compliments ihs. Yes it holds a 1 inch blade and several different blade "features", solid on and pulse mode. I'll have to make a video to show the blade.

Will have pics soon of my Rylo ROTJ with working triangle LEDs. I used regular flat black on mine. Here's a tip for those who haven't painted theirs yet. Either mask off or take apart your saber so you have just the ring section exposed. Spray away! After it has dried get a sheet of very fine grit sandpaper and cut a section just smaller than the ringed section. You want to make a "tube" of sandpaper. Wrap this around the ringed section and give it a few spins. You will see the balck coming off the top of the rings. Continue twisting with light to moderate pressure until the rings are bright and shiny.By using a fine grit you will also be polishing the rings to an extent as well.

I got this one from a guy here in the uk who made a V1 and V2, this is the first version. It s a solid piece with the add ons screwed in place. I really like the look of this one.

I used gloss black enamal paint on the rylo saber. I basically painted all the ringed body and while it was still wet i ran a cloth soaked in white spirit around to wipe the paint off on the raised areas. Waited a day for the paint to dry than gave it a second coat and did the same. The next day i used a razor blade flat on the ringed part to take off any excess that the white spirit didnt take of and viola, all done.

robiwon i like what you have done with the luke saber, i suck at electronics and wish i could do some of the cool stuff like that with mine..

And NHM i have cats, if you were refering to my carpet???

If you want some help with the Luke ESB V2 (AKA the 'Skywalker Ranch Saber), I can help.

I used to sell a kit of all the needed screws. I still have some of them, and I could dig up the rest, if you were interested.

The grips use silver screws, not rivets, in the bottom end and slotted head screws in the grips on the clamp end.

The clamp lever is broken off with a brass screw holding it together, and the lever screwed to the clamp bar with a slotted brass screw also.

I see your d-ring in properly reversed, are you using slotted brass screws to attach it?

If you want to go all-the-way with this saber, let me know and I can put a kit together for you.

Nice sabers. :thumbsup
You might want to consider upgrading them with some of the super accurate t-track I just did a run of. Makes a huge difference if you are a saber enthusiast, and a must have if you are into accuracy.

Ive always loved you Luke esb saber James, very nice pm sent :thumbsup
