Another Fettster Terminator/ Superdetailed this time! WIP

Thanks Weequay. When you work with resin, doing eyelashes are always going to be imperfect. You can't punch them in like silicone. So it was either no eyelashes or what I did.
As far as the tutorial, it's just mulit layered. I use two different flesh tones, medium and light. I mix all my own colors so they are custom colors. I use some orange/yellow and pink and mottle that onto the skin with an old brush. I do some shadowing here and there with a medium red/brown color also.
Thanks for the comments guys. This is one of my absolute favorite pieces I've ever completed. Just wait till you see the base and the light up eye!

Steve

That paint job is simply amazing.

The eyelashes still look kind of strange, and the hair is a little long still IMO, but seriously those skin tones are stunning.

Would you consider a short tutorial on what you used and how you layered the skin tones?? Please please please!!

For a novice like me to paining human flesh, it would be invaluable :)

Holy crap Steve.

Your best yet man!

I mean paint up period! It's been cool seeing you from being a beginer to what I would consider 100% pro! ;)

Good stuff man! I didn't think the chrome would look that good when done last but you really faded it in and really matched that screen cap above.

(y)thumbsup

:) Thanks a lot! I appreciate the kind words! I'll admit, this is my favorite piece I've completed yet. I'm really happy Fettster let me get one from him,THANKS FETTSTER!

Your paint up turned out fantastic & your hairwork on resin is well done.
Hairwork on resin can be real tricky to achieve a nice realistic look.

If this bust was mine I would lightly mottle some black washes on some areas of the chrome so that it is not so clean.

Here are a few indoor/ flash shots. Ignore the shirt. I just threw that on there for the heck of it.

:eek This looks more alive than Arnold does! Good Gawd!

You'll need to put him in an "unexpected" place in your home, just so when people come face to face with him they crap their pants! :lol (then again, you don't wanna be responsible for any heart attacks!)

Damn, Steve-----I am in total awe. My wife just walked by and trust me, she's not into this sort of stuff at all--and she thought it was actual pics of Ah-nuld!

I tinkered with him a bit more today. I weathered the endoskull so it didn't look brand new , also touched up some of the face and bloody areas a little more.

I think it's a bit better without the eyelashes and he looks like he's crying a liquid metal tear. But all the rest looks great!
