His real name is Jason Banks, and I sent him one of my polyjuice potions. He's now selling copies of it on eBay.

Also, he has a Time Bandits map, Goonies map, King Kong map, and a Jurassic Park brochure up for sale.

From his auction text:

THIS IS A COOL NEW HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS POLYJUICE POTION RECIPE PROP REPLICA THIS IS SHOWN IN THE MOVIE BUT I COULDNT FIND THE SCREEN SHOT

He must have had quite a hard time creating this replica without a screen shot.

I wondered if perhaps he was selling the original replica you sold to him. But he's got three available. :angry

Very sorry to hear about this ripoff, juno. What a slime. Thanks for bringing him to our attention.

Is he from one of the boards or did he buy through ebay?

If nothing else, report him to ebay.

Oh, and I can't wait to see what you are going to do with what I sent you!

Pat

The time bandits map is a reduced size of first version I printed.

The ones I made were about 24 x36. His is listed as 24x15.

THAT SUCKS....I actually had one of this auctions on my watch list. I was thinking about getting his Kong map - it looked pretty good, and I never see then for sale.
AH..well I guess the search will continue....
Sorry to see peoples stuff copied, but no big suprise, don't let it get to ya, such is the life of fan made props. Not to say that folks should not take action, but just a reminder that there is no point in letting it effect your life, that is giving him (or her) even more power.

Movie props and cellulite stretch cream on his auctions. Man, this guy has all bases covered...

The Goonies and the Kong maps look like they were ripped right from the Paper Prop thread. Sorry about your stuff as well Tif... :(

I've been watching the TB map as I have a vested interest. I thought this was the same guy who posted even smaller versions of Kapow's a while back, but It's not. Juno, sorry to hear about the HP item. What will eBay do if anything?

What a loser. Just try emailing the bidders and telling them where to get these for free.

Not a smart move... it only takes one to inform the seller and he can report you to Ebay... grounds for losing your account with no "first strike".

Unfortunately, producing a unlicensed replica and having someone else steal it and selling it on Ebay really gives you little recourse. Pot calling the kettle black as it were.

I'm curious too...

By the way, we could do the same thing we did some time ago...
We could sell the same things he's selling, but for a dollar, and give the money earned with the sale, to a charity organization or something similar...
This will not stop him, but could ruin his buisness...:D
