Thanks for all of the opinions on eyes vs. contacts, everyone! I'm quite content that I went natural.

And as for the pictures...they're finally here!!! :thumbsup

I've yet to get the cd with all of the pictures, but here are a select few that the photographer watermarked and chose to upload.

SO EXCITED!! Hope you's like them even 1/10th as much as I do!

There is some weird melding of legs going on here due to the glare on the pvc + immense physical shivering thanks to -15 weather...but the upper half has so much attitude, I had to post it!

This one's definitely one of my favourites... love the colours.

I know, I KNOW. But ( no pun intended ) it just makes me laugh and is the perfect closing shot. :lol
However, I feel like I should CG in a Batman at the other end of the garage...

And there we have it!! My first official show-off thread. *yay*

Holy crap, all I can think is that somebody else wore your contacts. That's... I dunno... horrible. All y'all can get all manner of nasty eye issues, doing that.

No worries, I wear contacts regularly ( she doesn't, which is also why it's so messed up ) so I know. At least it would be her and not me. :lol Obviously I threw them out afterwards for that reason...and that I also had no use for a single one. She's kinda the ultimate borrowing-without-asking sister.

I prefer your naturaly cat like eyes. The Blue one just made me crave a Bubble gum flavored Slurpy! By the way, if that's what you look like after putting in ZERO effort, you have no worries for your photo shoot. I'm just sayin'

I'd say go with your normal eyes and shop them later. If you need any help with photoshopping them I can give you a hand as that's what I'm going to school for.

Have to agree though, I like the natural cat like eyes anyway!

^on topic...i suggest just photoshop it if you can't get the correct contact color. the blue seems too freakish to me.

I'd go with the blue through the whole shoot. If you don't like them then shop them, you'd shop them if it was your regular eyes anyway, why not try to get them in camera...?

Thanks all! I went au natural which should look sweet in some portrait shots... unfortunately my photog couldn't sign out time for the actual studio ( she's a student ) so we only got a few in her home studio in which she only had a black backdrop. Not ideal but should make for some good contrast with the makeup in portraits. The rest we went to a parking garage to take some eerie and grungy and city backdrop shots which I'm really excited to see! I hope they turn out, 'cause I was shivering the whole time... PVC takes on the temperature of what's around it and let me tell you... when it's -13 outside ... well... it was NOT an easy shoot. :|

I'll have to resurrect it again in the future for some white backdrop studio shots if I can ever arrange something...

Just waiting on her to touch up the photos and get a cd ready for me! I can't wait to share them!

I'm late to the party, but I would have voted for your natural eyes as well. :thumbsup

They are indeed very "catlike", and the blue contact just looked far too artificial.


Can't believe you did an outdoor photoshoot in this bitter cold! :eek

Another vote for natural. The blue looks too unnatural. Maybe for other costumes, but not this Catwoman.
