Another Army of Two Mask [JV Version]

Hey all,

With all this AOT talk lately, I figured i should post some pics of my friend Brian's work. IMHO, one of the nicer masks around and to me, captures the detailing well. :thumbsup

And yes this was done from clay sculpt to molding, to cast. Came to me in a nice crisp clean resin cast, and to be safe, I hit my workshop and fiberglassed myself just in case. :)

When I received mine, Brian had yet to finish the strap backplate so I went with my spare Avon S10 gasmask strap.

Wow, i didnt know that Singapore's law against firearms has gotten so lax lately! Nice loadout by the way!

It hasn't, although there seems to be a number of 1:1 scale [with cosmetic differences] weapons around. Mine's a Resin prop. ;)

Some more pics taken at COSFEST 08 just yesterday...

That's one great looking mask... I believe I saw them for sale on e-bay aswell.
Awesome and you pulled of the costume nicely... It's damn hard to get it completely game accurate, I know...

I hope you don't mind me kinda hijacking this thread (just a pic I got to show you, not much use for making a seperate thread),
but here's what me and my brother did last 4 day weekend at the Japan Expo in Villepinte, near Paris:

We weren't able to get the entire suits finsihed, like the arm and leg guards, but we kicked some serious ass anyway :lol
There is this big con we have over here in October, so we'll see if we can get the boys all geared up by then...

Tom.-

Halo_1 - Damn fine job on the mask and the harness. Just impressive! You and 'the Baileys Bandit' really making me want to join in on this. Love what you have done for the harness to keep the mask on and in place. Can't make it flip up as easy like they do in the game, but it works.

ObiJuan70 - I didn't forget about you. You harness looks even better with that back plate. I will check the forum site and see what trouble I can get into.

TK8309 - I wouldn't call your photo 'Thread Jacking'. That is if you also share the secret of how you got those neck rings. Damn if those are the hardest things to acquire for everyone who has been interested in or prop making for this costume. So spill the beans on where you got those armor items and share with everyone.

Holy SMOKES TOM!!! - THAT ROCKS!!!!!!- Head on over to the AO2 forum board if ya can, would really like a breakdown of what all you did to get your costume done . . .

oculus1857 - Come on over Bro, it's fairly new there but we just wanted to pool our resources and hopefully get some nice costumes done for upcoming events . . .

Take care

Tom,

Thanks and you guys look awesome together! I need to find me a partner...:) Seriously, as John suggested, head down to the AOT forums and join up. We can talk shop there! Love what you did with your loadouts!

Very nice! is that a real Crye Combat chasis?!?!

Thanks bro, and good eye! Nope, it is the most accurate copy I could find on the market though. Crye is only supplying US Military and Law Enforcement personnel for the moment. I'm Military, but in a different country, gotta see what they say about my credentials :)

More pics...
