Another ANH blaster with wires: Dr. Evazan's

Well this was news to me anyway...

Most of us know by now that some of the E-11s had red and green wires, and some of the DH17's also had what look like yellow and green wires:

With the wonders of HD I just noticed that Dr. Evazan's blaster has what look like a jumble of red, green and yellow wires:

You can even clearly see the domed slotted screws holding them on and they aren't even painted!

I'm in the middle of updating my Evazan blaster and all this is great news to me.

Anyone have any thoughts? I'm wondering where on earth the wires attach and just exactly what colors are there etc.

The two metal squares held down with screws are the plates that the top scope attaches to (missing in this pic). Nice to see exactly what they look like.
I believe the side scope attaches to two identical plates mounted on the side not shown (against the floor).

Other versions of this gun (Stormtrooper version and Alien version) also have markings on the side in the same spot from scopes.

I didn't notice the wires before, they're not on the blaster before filming, good catch!

Nice find. I never noticed the Rebel blasters having wires either. I still need to find a Dr. Evazan blaster!
