Animax Designs 2022 Internship: Axolotl Puppet

This summer I interned in the mechanical design department at Animax Designs. Animax is a theme-park animatronics and puppet company based in Nashville, TN. Alongside the other projects at the company, the interns were tasked with making a puppet from start to finish.

This particular puppet was themed after an axolotl that wears a straw hat, overalls and plays the banjo. I was tasked with creating the eyeballs and helped design/create the mechanism that allowed his hand to slide along the neck of the banjo.

I had a blast working at the company and the awesome IPs.
