Just wanted to give a quick update--

I received a call from my supplier yesterday and we discussed some of the details of the gloves, and the discrepancies between the prototype she sent me and the corrections that need to be made for the production run.

It looks like this project is starting to finally gain some momentum again. Thank Gawd..

I spoke to my supplier today after not getting the update last week that I wanted. I gave her a call and it seems that this is the Chinese New Year again (The gloves are manufactured overseas), and the entire country takes 2 weeks off. Production seems to be temporarily on hold until their celebrations subside. I have an appointment to call her again at the end of next week to find out the status. At this point, I'm just waiting to see the newest prototype and hoping to give it my approval to start production. The last prototype didn't even pass my suppliers standards, so if they didn't pass hers, they certainly wont pass my picky standards.

Kurtyboy-- I'm sorry, but I never received any of your emails or messages that you have sent. I am not avoiding you or anybody else on this forum. I have not read through this entire thread, but I have just now seen your last two posts. I see that I have a PM from you also, and I respond to that this evening. For everyone's information-- everyone who sent me a cash deposit has my email address and was given my personal phone number. I'm sorry, but I do not come to the forum as often as I used to, only to post new updates (which unfortunately hasn't been as frequent as I would like). Any communication you desire to have with me, I would appreciate it if we can do it in private and I'm sure that we will come to an ammicable resolution. I am more than willing to cooperate with you, and I do not want the perceived tone of your posts to hinder any friendly communciation that we may have.

Still nothing. He knows I want a refund because he responded to a PM about it months ago. I have been emailing him at three different email addresses (at least some of the emails are being delievered) and PM'ing him.

What's this guy's problem?
 
I also requested a refund and got a partial one, but not as much as I sent.

It's been so long I don't remember the exact amounts.

Pathetic, nothing takes this long.
 
ugh...its not like ya'll are asking for a fortune either. The deposit on the gloves was $25 if memory serves me correctly, so I can't really see what the hold up is. Its disheartening to think such a small amount is creating such negativity (deservedly so, btw) and a coupla quick and small paypal transactions would fix this pronto.

C'mon Russ, fix this already for these guys...
